- The more I look at this especially #3 the less I think conifera rel, looks too small. (Verzonden: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
- Opmerking (5240): Bruce Dunstan (2009-11-10) - Thanks Harry. I saw G. conifera further north and it seemed much more globular. This thing seemed almost cylindrical. I'll post some more images from further away but show a more mature inflorescence. (Verzonden: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
- Opmerking (5240): Eric Gouda (2009-11-11) - Bruce, I agree with Harry's last message: G.conifera starts with a globular infl. but soon it will become cylindrical and elongated (just keeps flowering for a very long time). G.conifera has more bracts in one spiral and often yellow and orange bracts. We used to have a picture of both in the Gallery, but at the moment I can't find the G.besseae picture (it was more reddish). (Verzonden: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
