Abstract:—New taxons of Tillandsia subgenus Anoplophytum (Bromeliaceae) from Rio Gramlc do Sul, Brazil
Five new species and tree new varieties of Tillandsia, subgenus Anoplophytum (Bromeliaceae) from tbe Rio Grande do Sul State, South Brazil are described: T. aeranthos var. aemula, T. aeranthos var. rosea, T. afonsoana. T. bella. T. itaubensis, T. jonesii, T. winkleri. The paper presents a description of the subgenus; diagnosis, phenology, comments and drawings of the new taxons.
