- Opmerking (13872): Jerry Raack (2018-04-29) - Looks like Racinaea tenuispica. Compare to the images and description in the Bromeliad Encyclopedia. (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Opmerking (13872): Uncle Derek (2018-04-29) - It certainly looks like Racinaea tenuispica but I am intrigued why EP should give the plant an unregistered cultivar name.. Is it a man-made hybrid? Using Smith's key may help you getting close to the answer. (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Opmerking (13872): Ping Li (2018-04-30) - Thanks Jerry and Uncle Derek, I am happy to know that its a real species of Racinaea. With the habitat in relatively low altitude, this species can grow quite healthy here in Shanghai.

- Opmerking (13872): Uncle Derek (2018-05-01) - Ping tells me that EP stands for Exotic Plants who have links with Deroose. They often give names to hybrids or forms of species without advising the Bromeliad Cultivar Register so detail can be recorded (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
