6318 - Bromeliads (Garden) - 2011-01-09 (Dimensie: 606 x 482 pixels - Teller: 18514) Pitcairnia flammea? Verzamel locatie: Brazil S. America - Sao Paulo - From Mauro in Sao Paulo State South America. Fotograaf: Allan Ladd Opmerking: This Pitcairnia was sold to me as Pitcairnia garrifi seed? Plant was one of a batch of seedlings which were very consistent in foliage & flower, all with rich soft green foliage with brilliant scarlet to orange red simple inflorescence. (See old inflorescence for structure). This plant likes damp soils & is an evergreen in my climate, no dormant stage as Derek mentioned. I make the assumption that it is a form of P. flammea, any suggestions as to the true ID??? (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl) Determinatie: gevraagd (Klik op de foto om te vergroten) |
