Verzamel locatie: Brazil - Amazonas - Northern portion on left Negro river bank i terra firme forest.
Fotograaf: carlos durigan
Opmerking: I supose is P. saginarius, but was observing it is pretty different, showing yellow flowers emergin from the inflorescense. Could you help me if the id is ok? (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)

  • Determinatie: E.J.Gouda (2021-12-09) =Aechmea tayoensis - One of the former Chevaliera species. Leaves are quite narrow for the species, but I think it well could be Aechmea tayoensis, only known from Ecuador. Not very clear what the size of the plant is, A. fernandae is from that region but has greenish petals and is quite large. (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
