Habitat: Rupiculous in full exposed sites in the subshruby vegetation, ca. 1000 m. Elev.

Etymology: The strongly arcuate-recurved leaf blades of Hohenbergia arcuata inspired its name, on the basis of the Latin word arcuatus.
