Distribution: BRAZIL; Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro,

Habitat: epiphytes and occur sparsely in the forest interior., 800-1400 m. Elev.

Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the posture of the apex of the inflorescence, which resembles a question mark. However, this is judged to be only an atypical torsion of the inflorescence, because all other characteristics conform to the variation observed through the distribution of the taxon (Fig. 5).
