• Geographic distribution and habitat: Vriesea interrogatoria occurs in forests at altitudes between 800 and 1400 m a.s.l. in the Serra do Mar, sections of Bocaina and Serra da Mantiqueira and in the Itatiaia section (Fig. 7). The plants are epiphytes and occur sparsely in the forest interior. —See Costa et al. 2009
