Abstract:—A new Dyckia species (Bromeliaceae subfam. Pitcairnioideae) from the Cerrado of southern Tocantins, central Brazil, is described: Dyckia dichroma. The southern species D. inconspicua and D. teresinae from Goiás are assumed to be possible relatives. The differences are outlined.
