Distribution: BRAZIL: Tocantins
Habitat: Terrestrial or saxicolous in open Campo Cerrado, in stony to sandy substrate beside and on large dark rocks, ca. 360 m. Elev.
Etymology: The name of this new species refers to the colour variation of the leaves (red and green) and the bi-coloured flowers (Greek prefix δι- (di-) – two and χρῶμα (chroma) – colour)
Phenology: At the beginning of December 2023, plants were found in flower and also with ripe fruits
