Two new Tillandsia (Bromeliaceae) species from Antioquía, Colombia

Abstract:—Two new Tillandsia species, discovered by Jeffrey Kent, from near Amalfi, Antioqu?a, Colombia are described and illustrated and compared with the morphologically most similar species. Both new species belonging to Tillandsia subgenus Tillandsia. One of the new species is morphologically close to T. romeroi L.B. Sm., while the other is similar to T. humboldtii Baker. Both species have also been observed on iNaturalist and are in culture for several years in nurseries in the U.S.A. and Europe. Four Bromeliaceae species were earlier described as new from the same area.
