Distribution: Colombia, Antioquia

Habitat: Epiphyte, 750-1420 m. Elev.

Etymology: The epithet is a combination of 'digitate' (divided from a common point, like the fingers of a hand) and 'spicate' (spiked), because of the very short inflorescence axis.

Phenology: Flowered in culture and in the wild in May and June.
