Spanish title:—Una nueva especie de Tillandsia (Bromeliaceae), endémica de Honduras
Abstract:—A new species of Tillandsia L. (Bromeliaceae: Tillandsioideae) with compound digitate inflorescence was discovered in Honduras. This species is closely related to Tillandsia fasciculata Sw.; however, it differs in having densely lepidote leaves, cinereous lepidote floral bracts, and a lithophyte habit. In this work we compare and discuss these and other morphological characteristics, and a distribution map is added. Collection data show that this species is endemic to the western region of the country.
