Abstract:—Dyckia pampeana Büneker, a new species of Bromeliaceae (Pitcairnioideae) from the Pampa grasslands of Brazil and Uruguay, is hereby described and illustrated. Data on habitat, ecology, etymology, geographical distribution, morphological affinities and status of conservation according to the IUCN criteria are provided.
