- Identification (6552): HEL (2011-05-10) =Tillandsia fasciculata var.
- Looks like one of the Cent. Amer. var. venospica type things. T. compressa Greater Antilles only (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note (6552): Matthias Asmuss (2011-05-12) - in FCBS localities for compressa are supposedly Jamaica and Mexico, so it could occur also in Guatemala; just my tag says Guatemala and I did not bring it with me from there to be sure; the inflorescence here is simple; always simple ? does var. venosispica always have a compound inflorescence ? size of my plants (=2 mothers and 4 pups) quite small compared to fasciculata from Florida or Venezuela (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note (6552): Matthias Asmuss (2011-05-13) - no keeled leaves; they are canaliculate, so may be we can discuss the fasciculata variety (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Identification (6552): Walter Till (2011-05-17) =Tillandsia magnispica
