11750 - Bromeliads (Garden) - 2014-08-31 (Dimension: 510 x 690 pixels - Counter: 14349) Racinaea sp. Locality: Ecuador - Loja - Yangana Photographer: Atsushi Sato Note: I collected their seeds in Yanagana, Ecuador where similar Racinaea species were ubiquitously found in secondary forests. I sowed them in May 2008 and they are now in anthesis. Plant height is 60 cm including an inflorescence. Petals are white typical for this kind of inconspicuous Racinaea. I'd very much appreciate your comment for identification. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl) Identification: pending (Click on the picture to enlarge)
