Locality: Colombia - Cauca Department - Southeast of Popoyan, Purace National Park, Cordillera Central Range, in the paramo at the well-visited thermal springs and further south in the park.

This is a guess but this species has been collected neat the National Park. I am sending you a description direct to you so you can check it. If you are going to do more exploring it may be worthwhile joining the WWWBromeliad Society.
