- Add Note: Bruce Dunstan (2018-02-11) - see 7044 HEL thought it was a form of P. brongartniana. Glad to see it is being cultivated Eduardo. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note: Bruce Dunstan (2018-02-11) - If you scroll through the Pitcairnia images on this site Eduardo and look for number 7044 you'll find the same species that I saw 2011. cheers Bruce (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note: Eric Gouda (2018-02-12) - Interesting specimen, could be new. It is not P.brongniardiana I think, which is a climber (long caulescent) and has the floral bracts as long as the sepals. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note: Eduardo Calderon (2018-02-12) - No doubt my specimen will eventually grow as a climber. Forgot to mention, that the mother plant from whiich I took a division, was a climber. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note (13616): Eduardo Calderon (2018-02-24) - Correct spelling:
Pitcairnia brongniartiana
