Distribution: BRAZIL: Bahia

Habitat: terrestrial on shaded forest floor in an Atlantic Forest, ca 135 m. Elev.

Etymology: The specific epithet is a reference to the county of Cruz das Almas, Bahia state, where C. cruzalmensis was collected. Additional specimen examined (paratypes):–– BRAZIL.
