Distribution: Brazil, Minas Gerais

Habitat: Terrestrial/saxicolous in transition zone of Campo Cerrado and Caatinga, exclusively on scattered outcrops of limestone, ca 500 m. Elev.

Etymology: The epithet “viride” refers to the very green color of the rosettes.
