Distribution: BRAZIL. Ceará

Habitat: area with locally high precipitation, with the mountains part of the Atlantic Forest domain, ca. 1100 m. Elev.

Etymology: The specific epithet is in honor of Carmen Loyola de Moura.

Phenology: The species has been collected with flowers in March and August and with fruits in July and August.
