Distribution: BRAZIL: Rio de Janeiro

Habitat: terrestrial in shady and humid spots under the protection of the shrubby vegetation, ca 1653 m. Elev.

Etymology: The name of this new species is an explicit reference to Desengano, the place where it was found.
