Distribution: BRAZIL: Espirito Santo

Habitat: Saxicolous on rocky outcrops fully exposed to solar radiation, ca. 900 m. Elev.

Etymology: The specific epithet is a Brazilian Portuguese name, “capixaba”, of indigenous origin, meaning fertile land and it is usually used to refer to people born in the State of Espírito Santo.
