Distribution: BRAZIL; Alagoas,

Habitat: ca 500 m. Elev.

Phenology: inflorescence lasts for a relatively long time, producing flowers for about three months. Due to this longer time period, within the same inflorescence we observed the production of apical flowers at the same time as relatively well-developed fruits were forming in the basal fascicles.
