Distribution: BRAZIL; Rio Grande do Sul,

Habitat: It inhabits forest areas with Araucarias, epiphytic, at times on the ground,, 1000 m. Elev.

Etymology: The name of this variety makes reference the white bracts of the inflorescence.

Phenology: blooms between March to July.
