Etymology: this new type is named after Walter Erlenbach, Niederdrees/Rheinbach. The geographer Walter Erlenbach for decades has visited Bolivia and takes a strong interest in the plants that grow there. Not only has he done geographical research but archaeological too as well as being involved with social issues. The naming was a particular wish of his wife, Ulrike Lohoff-Erlenbach.
