Distribution: BRAZIL; Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro.
Habitat: in the Forest Atlantic Pluvial montana and high montana (Smith & Downs 1979; Fontoura et al. 1991), rupestral fields and gallery forests of the Cerrado, to 2.000 m altitude (Versieux & Wendt 2006). In Rio de Janeiro its occurrence is restricted to the Forest Atlantic Pluvial montana and high-montana, starting from 800 m altitude., to 2000 m. Elev.
