Habitat: in Floresta Ombrofila Densa Submontana (Mata de Terra Firme) & Campinas Amazonicas. It prefers being epiphytic, living mostly in the back of trees., 50-200 m. Elev.

Phenology: Collected with flowers in July, with fruit in November.
