Distribution: Jamaica

Habitat: saxicolous on walls of limestone, in full sun, in a hot, humid areas, 300-500 m. Elev.

Etymology: The specific epithet of comes from the association of the species with calcareous rocks.

Phenology: Flowering occurs in April, fruiting during April, June, and August.
