Habitat: inhabits xerophytic shrub lands on coastal dunes, deciduous forest, mangroves, low inundated forests, and evergreen forest, from 0-250 m above sea level. img

Phenology: Plants have been recorded with flowers in April, May, June, and October; fruits in February, May, August, September, November, and December. Our knowledge of the phenology of the species in likely incomplete and will improve as more collections are incorporated into herbaria.
