Distribution: CHILE: Antofagasta, Atacama

Habitat: Saxicolous on open rocky ground, and epiphytic on cacti,, 200-600 m. Elev.

Etymology: The name honours Wilhelm Guillermo Geisse (1846-1925) co- worker of the great naturalist and botanist dedicated to the study of theChilean flora, Rodulfo Amando Philippi. .
