Distribution: PERU: Ancash

Habitat: Saxicolous on a rocky section on the ground among other low vegetation, ca. 2700 m. Elev.

Etymology: Tillandsia densispicata gets its name from the spikes in the flowering section of the inflorescence, which are densely packed together and inclined against the main axis

Phenology: The flowering period of Tillandsia densispicata in the northern hemisphere extends over several months from mid-summer to late autumn
