Distribution: COLOMBIA: Chocó

Habitat: terrestrial, on the ground covered by mosses, lichens, ferns and other small plants in open forest areas,, 1850-2000 m. Elev.

Etymology: The epithet "pleurothalliifolia" refers to the leaves resembling those of some larger species of the Orchid genus Pleurothallis.
