Distribution: Colombia: Antioquia

Habitat: epiphyte in cloud forest, ca. 2000 m. Elev.

Etymology: The epithet ‘filicaulis’ comes from the Latin ‘filum-’ thread- and ‘caulis’ stem, meaning “thread-like stem”, after its thread-like peduncle of the inflorescence

Phenology: flowered in cultivation in April
