Distribution: México, Guerrero

Habitat: it grows as saxicolous or terrestrial in the transition between tropical deciduous forests and Quercus forests, 1650-1900 m. Elev. img

Etymology: The specific epithet honors Hubert Kruse Robinett (1910– 1984) who, between 1959 and 1970, explored various localities in the state of Guerrero, mainly the areas of Rincón Viejo and Rincón de la Vía. Kruse collected over 3000 numbers accompanied by labels with complete information on places, types of vegetation and data about the plants.

Phenology: Flowering occurs in June to August
