Distribution: Peru (northern)

Etymology: The species epithet ‘attenuatipetala’ expresses the triangular attenuate petals of the species in contrast to the rounded aspect in most species of the genus Racinaea.

Phenology: In cultivation in Europe the plant flowers from August till October
