Distribution: Mexico: Oaxaca

Habitat: grows epiphytically in oak, pine and tropical deciduous forests, 1730-1960 m. Elev.

Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the bicolorous petals, violet and chartreuse green, that distinguish this new species

Phenology: blooms from December to January
