Distribution: BRAZIL: Minas Gerais

Habitat: It grows as an understory epiphyte or straight on the forest floor in humid montane Atlantic Forest, ca. 900 m. Elev.

Etymology: The epithet refers to the State Park of Alto Cariri, where it was originally discovered.
