Distribution: BRAZIL: Espirito Santo
Habitat: Terrestrial on shallow sandy or rocky soils accumulated at the base of granitic outcrops in the Atlantic Forest, ca. 500 m. Elev.
Etymology: The name reflects the green-glaucous color of the leaves of P. glauca, which is intensified by a dense layer of white epicuticular wax not observed in its other morphologically close relatives.
