Distribution: BRAZIL: Goiás
Habitat: Terrestrial at the base of rocks in a substrate consisting of quartz gravel (campo rupestre), ca 500 m. Elev.
Etymology: The naming of this new species is in honour of the co-discoverer and cactus specialist Bernhard Bohle from Geseke, Germany (Fig. 12)
Phenology: The plants were in the late flowering stage on 1 December 2023. Most fruits were not yet ripe. However, there appears to be a second flowering period in early spring, as fresh fruits were also found in May.
