Distribution: French Guiana: Oiapoque; Brazil: Amapá
Habitat: in the terra-firme Forest, occurring in medium-sized trees, from 1 to 5 m above the ground, forming caespitose clumps of up to 10 individuals
Phenology: Based on the analysis of the specimens and field work, flowers and fruits were observed in the months of October and November. No floral visitor or dispersing agent of this species was observed in the field.
