Taxonomic Change:
- Populations of G.lingulata in the Guianas has proved that the size is not very useful for separating varieties or even on species level. There are populations in C.America that deserves to be recognized as a variety of G.lingulata, but good characteristics has to be found and compared with the type of G.minor —See Gouda 1987 p. 21
