• Distribution and habitat. Tillandsia minutiflora grows from central Peru (Till, 1989, sub T. bryoides auct.) through Bolivia up to central Argentina and northwestern Paraguay, with a disjunct area in southern Buenos Aires (Sierra de la Ventana). Its geographical distribution includes areas with altitudes between 600 and 2600 m (Till, 1989, sub T. bryoides auct.). Tillandsia minutiflora is an epiphytic species usually growing on bushes and small trees in “del Monte” phytogeographical province, but it can also colonize rocks. —See Donadío 2011
