• -Habitat and distribution. To date, Racinaea zingleri is only known from the type locality in Northern Peru, Province San Martin, along the street from Florida (Pomacocha) to Rioja resp. Moyobamba. As an epiphyte, it grows in the mountainous rain forest at an elevation of about 2000 m. —See Höpfel & Scharf 2011
