• Distribution & Habitat
  The two known collections of N. catarinense come from the same microsite, some 800 m above sea level, in the Serra de Dona Francisca, in Santa Catarina. According to the collector, this species is sparsely distributed in the area and occurs as an epiphyte on the lower part of tree trunks in the Atlantic slope forest —See Leme 2000a
