A hybrid between T.harrisii and T.velutina is looking exactly like T.hondurensis.
Pollen test of a garden origin of T.hondurensis shows little irregular pollen with only 10% germination against 90% in the blanco (T.xiphioides var. lutea). It would be of interest to learn what Tillandsia species are growing near the Type location.
