Catopsis minimiflora Matuda

Taxonomic Change:

• C. minimiflora Matuda is likely to be a synonym of Tillandsia patriae var . patriae (Rauh 1976) and was therefore, excluded from Catopsis. —See Palaci 1997 p. VII Tax.treatment
• Description emended based on the male and female specimen of the types of Tillandsia patriae Rauh and var. laxiflora (HEID) —See Gouda et al. 2006/2009
