Nidularium picinguabense is a terrestrial plant or an epiphyte in the lower layer ot'the coastal Atlantic forest at altitudes from near sea level to ca. 400 m. It is endemic to forests on the border between the states of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, the most
