Comments:
- Distribution and Ecology: Endemic to northern Chile; distributed in Region II (Antofagasta, 22°30’–26° S), up to about 670 m. Grows in rocky, arid areas of the coastal cordillera.
Conservation: Endangered (Zizka et al., 2009).
