Comments:
- Ecology and distribution: this species is distributed on the slopes of the windward side of the Sierra Madre Oriental, from the mountains North of Oaxaca and northern Chiapas and in the plain of the Gulf of Mexico (Figure 34). Records are distributed between the biogeographical provinces of the Sierra Madre Oriental and the Gulf of Mexico (classification according to Morrone, 2001, 2005), in temperate humid and warm wet, between 5 and 1700 m above sea level, high evergreen forest and mountain cloud forest.
